Applications are invited for the following Awards and Travel Grants.

The Australasian Menopause Society Scientific Award
This is given for the most meritorious contribution to the field of menopause published by an investigator. This is an annual award judged by the Council of the Society and based on a published or accepted paper in the last 12 months. The paper should be on a specific subject related to menopause and is restricted to members of the Society. The value of the award for this year is anticipated to be $500.00.
The Australasian Menopause Society Award for Outstanding Contribution in Women's Health
This is the most prestigious award offered by the Australasian Menopause Society and recognizes a distinguished person who has made a significant contribution to Women's Health and is awarded every two years.
This award is presented at the conference dinner by the President .
The Barbara Gross Award
This award is for the best overall Free Communication or poster by any delegate. The winner will receive a Certificate of honour and $AUD1,000.
The Jean Hailes Memorial Prize
This award is for the best Free Communication by a current AMS member who is within 10 years of completing their tertiary degree or a new investigator. The winner will receive a certificate of honour and $AUD500.
AMS Travel Grants
The AMS is pleased to offer 4 Travel Grants each valued at $400.00 to the presenter of an abstract at the Congress. This is an AMS Education & Research Fund initiative. Applications should be submitted with the abstract to the Conference Managers with supporting evidence of need for a travel grant.
