The Australasian Menopause Society holds a scientific meeting (Congress) each year.
The AMS Congress involves plenary lectures, interactive sessions and panel discussions.
These metings are planned three years in advance, building on the topics and experiences of past successful annual scientific meetings.

AMS Pre-Congress Postgraduate Update in Menopause
9am - 12 noon, Friday 18 September 2009
This is an exciting new venture that the AMS Council will be organising at the Canberra AMS Congress. The update is designed to complement the congress program and is aimed at all those GP's or specialists who would like a comprehensive update in this ever changing field of menopause medicine.

12th Australasian Menopause Society Congress
One of the main themes of this Congress was Metabolism and Midlife - focusing on issues of weight changes, nutrition, diabetes and cardiovascular disease risk - issues which affectan increasing proportion of our population particularly at mid life.
