On behalf of the Organising Committee I take great pleasure in inviting you to attend the 16th Australasian Menopause Society Congress, titled 'Melbourne, Menopause and Midlife – New Directions in Women's Health'. The Congress Scientific Program Committee has developed an outstanding program featuring local and international speakers participating in plenary lectures, interactive sessions and panel discussions. The AMS Scientific Congress' are planned 3 years in advance, building on the topics and experiences of our past meetings.

A comprehensive trade exhibition will showcase the most up to date products, technology and information on menopause and related women's health. The Congress will also feature an exciting range of social events, including a Welcome Reception and Congress Dinner.

I trust you will be stimulated by the science and clinical messages and will enjoy the company of your colleagues.

I look forward to seeing you in Melbourne.
